Machiya Onsen is located in Sutthisan area, is another urban street in Bangkok. This is a renovation project that covers two units commercial block turn to be an onsen & spa relaxation place. The concept is to play with natural light in a daytime and to use lighting design for enhancing a nighttime atmosphere. That creates a variety of space experience. An opaque glass material has been chosen for the windows of the whole building to focus only on natural light that passing building and to see the changing color thought out a day and nighttime. During nighttime, the design plays LED colored lights on the glass wall in the onsen pool to form the space. The colors are carefully chosen to create the kind of feeling that guests enjoy with the movement of colors and spaces.
